In via Italia, Biella, since 1910: the Stefano Pivano jewellery brings fine jewellery and watches from the great brands online.
Gioielleria Stefano Pivano was born in 1910 in via Italia, Biella, as a small workshop where beauty took shape in gold and precious stones. Today, more than a century later, the founder's grandchildren carry it on, with expertise certified by Giovanni Borello's GIA gemologist diploma.
An authorised dealer of brands such as Damiani, Salvini, Montblanc, Baume & Mercier, Eberhard & Co., Chantecler and Crivelli, it has an in-house workshop certified by Omega for repairs and bespoke jewellery. Since 2018 the boutique has also been online, with insured shipping, gift wrapping and the same service as in store.
The new e-commerce had to live up to the brands it sells: as elegant as a shop window, as fast as an online store should be.
I took care of design and development, with Next.js for the frontend, BigCommerce for catalogue and orders and Payload CMS for the content. The design makes room for the brands' campaigns, with full-screen photography and a powder-pink and ivory palette that doesn't compete with the jewels. Every brand has its own page with its collections, themed selections such as ceremony help choose a gift, and the historic pages kept their addresses.
